Your 2020 Reading List Has Arrived : 12 Books that'll make you think you love reading

January has been all about 2020 vision(s) and hopefully you're planning on reading at least one book this year. Please tell me you still read books...like, good + thick paper books. Okay, good. Had me sweatin' over here. Below is a sacred list of my most-favorite books of all time. Even if you don't read...read these books. And how convenient-- there's 12 books; one for each month this year. You're welcome! (:

***Click on any of the titles to find them on Amazon!

//1// The Road Back to You

This was on my December Favorites and it's here now because I truly believe it'll better your life. It totally changed how I view myself and others. The goal of it all is to create a more compassionate world- what could be better?

//2// Gone Girl

This book is what got me into psychological thrillers. Without giving away any details, girl disappears, husband is blamed, husband swears he didn't do it, crazy crazy things happen. It may take a little bit to get into it, but it's totally worth it. Don't waste your time with the movie + if you've already seen the movie, you should definitely read the book. I can't even tell you how wrong the movie is...so so so very very very wrong.

//3// The Glass Castle

I'm fairly certain this is the first memoir I've read, but it pulls alllll the heart strings. I read it years ago and I still think about her story often. It's about a girl who grew up in a less-than perfect world with dysfunctional and undisciplined parents. Sound familiar? Read it. Sound like a different world? Read it.

//4// The Wife Between Us

Another thriller + well worth all the minutes it'll take to read it... which probably won't be many because it's too good. The gist is a girl is living in New York, falls in love, someone starts following her; scary scary, I tell ya.

//5// Where'd Ya Go Bernadette?

There are quotes from this book I have held onto for years. This ones is much more light-hearted and fun, with just a touch of mystery. You may have seen a movie was recently released based on this book...I've yet to decide if I wanna risk ruining the whole thing for me. It's seriously happened too many times.

//6-12// Harry Potter (books 1-7)

Yes, all seven books. You've read them before? Read them again...thery're just. that. good. There are so many life lessons throughout these books. There's love, suspense, drama, and so much more. I read these for the first time while in college and as soon as I finished the seventh book, I was ready to start them alllll over. Again, movies suck...I especially do not suggest watching the movies *directly* after reading the books. You may cry, or maybe it's just me. I don't know.

I hope you enjoy!! Let me know when you read any of these or if you have- I'd love to hear your thoughts!!!

What books do you think *everyone* should read??
