Thoughtful Ways to Show Your Pals You Miss Them

Feeling lonely yet? Even if you're an introvert, you might start finding yourself longing for human interaction before too long.

We all need someone to lean on at times, even if it's hard to admit.

Here are 5 simple ways you can safely contact + love on your closest pals.

//1// Care Package

This one is probably pretty obvious, but it's important. Fill a little box of things your pal loves and send it out. You may have to go to the post office for this one, but you can fill it with things from your house so you don't have to go out to a store. Think homemade cookies, a little painting (like this one), a little craft (like this one), or maybe a bottle of nail polish they love + you don't care for.

//2// Snail Mail

Either stick a cute little note in that care package or just a letter filled with sentiments and promises of big bear hugs to come. Who doesn't love to get a card in the mail?!

//3// Call

I know a lot of people have a little bit of a phobia when it comes to talking on phones, but, my girl, call your grandma + grandpas. You'll probably light up their day in unimaginable ways. Think of some simple things that are going on in your life to fill them in on + some questions you can ask them.

//4// Ask How They *REALLY* are

Text, call, facetime, snail mail - whichever way - ask your pals how they're really doing. Don't settle for a simple good or fine. Press in and ask how they are coping with everything going on and how you can help.

//5// Order Goodies

Order some goodies and have them sent straight to their house. Think flowers, wine, DoorDash, groceries, magazine subscriptions, etc. Anything you can buy and have sent without leaving your couch. Use this link for $15 in DoorDash coupons!

My hope is that, through simple acts of (distanced) kindness, we can feel less alone + more bonded than ever before. Please, please, please reach out if there is any way I can help you!
