Has this month seemed like an eternity for anyone else? I don't know about you, but I'm trying to focus on things I can be grateful for amidst all the uncertainty and cancellations.
I also feel like it's been an eternity since I've written a list of favorites because last month I kept with my theme and wrote about my All Time Favorite Planning Tools (you can find that here!).
So, here you are: 5 things I totally things are worth investing in.
I haven't quite finished this book yet, but I'm really loving it! Michelle's experiences and perspectives are equal parts insightful and inspirational. The premise is basically that she has lived a lot of life and, after leaving the White House, she realized she had a lot to say about the many things she has observed and learned over the years. Think what you will about the Obamas, but Michelle is one of my heroes + always will be.
This stuff is made with magic- literally straight from the unicorns. You just dip a little q-tip into the bottom and slop it on little breakouts and wake up to refreshed skin. My body's hormones have been out of wack and I've randomly had some annoying breakouts, so after hearing loads of good experiences with this product, I decided to try it... and I'm so glad I did!
Everlane is all about sustainability in fashion. These leggings lack nothing. They are squat-proof, yet, sometimes I forget I'm even wearing them. They're called "Perform Leggings" because you can literally wear them to work, straight to the gym, to a baby shower, then to the grocery store- whatever you have on the calendar, these leggings can keep up. Right now Everlane even has a deal going where you can save a bunch of $$$ if you buy a pack of two. I'm not sure how long that will last, but you can find it here.
//4// Caramel Macchiato Coffee (at home!!)
Okay, so, I'm going crazy over this combo. Someone gifted us a Keurig last Christmas and, while we were hesitant about using it at first, we are in-flipping-love now. Hear me out- caramel macchiato k-cups (but Target brand) with Starbucks caramel macchiato creamer. It is actually what gets me out of bed some mornings.
I got these jeans for my birthday and I'm in love! I've literally only worn skinny jeans siiinnnccceeeee junior high, I think? So, wearing a different fit definitely took a sec to get used to, but now I'm obsessed. Madewell's denim is so nice and stretches the perfect amount to be comfortable... kinda like when you get a new pair of docs and they're super uncomfortable, but you know it's worth it because after one or two wears, they fit *perfect.* Madewell also offers a $20 discount if you bring in any brand of denim to recycle.
Let me know if you have an idea of something you think I'd love! I love to hear from you!
